Description
The SST G breakout sliding door is designed to look like a standard sliding door with a fine-frame profile system (G). However, in the event of an emergency, users can manually open the door panels and sidelights outward, utilizing the breakout function for a wide and generous passage. This feature ensures that the full door width can be used for easy and safe evacuation.
In automatic mode, the door operates just like a standard sliding door, providing convenience during regular use. During the summer, the large opening can be utilized for ventilating the building, improving airflow and comfort within the space.
The SST G breakout sliding door is approved for use in emergency exits and escape routes, and it complies with DIN 18650 and AutSchR guidelines. It is tested for a minimum service life of 1 million cycles, ensuring durability and reliability. The glazing is made of 10 mm safety glass, which is protected by slender, fine-frame profiles to offer both protection and a sleek, modern design.
This door system is versatile and can be applied to both internal and external doorset applications, making it suitable for a wide range of settings, including public buildings, shopping arcades, and showrooms (such as car dealerships).
The door can accommodate significant dimensions, with a maximum system width of 5540 mm, a maximum clear passage width of 2000 mm, and a maximum clear passage height of 2500 mm.
